Pathoage is a comprehensive resource designed to explore thousands of tissue-specific clinical features associated with age and mortality. By analyzing over 33 million text descriptions of histological samples from The Danish Pathology Register, we provide a robust platform for understanding how age and mortality intersect with various tissue-specific clinical characteristics.
Our data is derived from a vast corpus of pathology records, where we have extracted key clinical features using the SNOMED CT ontology as our reference dictionary. For each feature, we calculate important metrics such as the mean incidence age, as well as statistical measures like the Cox regression coefficient and Pearson correlation coefficient.
The co-occurrence of features in tissue corpora are spatially visalized using UMAP and tSNE.
Explore Pathoage to unlock critical insights into tissue-specific clinical features and their connections to age and mortality. For more information on our methodology, please refer to our paper.
